Refugee Film Festival

Refugee Film Festival explores the lives and experiences of refugees, and initiates dialogues across different groups with the aim of contributing to a greater, more honest and more nuanced representation of refugees in film.

Through our many years of work with refugees, we have realized the lack of knowledge and the urgent need to demystify refugee identity through film and culture. The festival aims to ensure a better representation of refugees on film, as well as give people with a refugee background something to reflect themselves in. A more positive and empowering understanding of their own story and identity.
